Gustav

As Gustav sets his sights for the Gulf of Mexico, I found something I thought was kind of interesting...  Gustav is a German variation of the boy's name Gus (short form of Augustus meaning "worthy of respect") or Gustave (Scandinavian version meaning "royal staff; staff of the gods").   Gustav is a name of royalty in Sweden.

Another website said it's meaning was "staff of the Goths" and that six different Kings of Sweden held the name Gustav.

That was your random thought for the evening... Good night!
